UNDERWATER BOTTLE 3' 2003

This is an underwater installation, which I made on 12 August 2003 on the Kabakum Beach - one of the crowded beaches of Varna. Such work could be seen under water only. Actually, I have placed in opposition the function of bottles full of air and water – a bottle outside water (i.e. when in the air) is full of water and people drink this water and this is its function. However, when the same bottle is placed under water, and it is full of air, it stands bottom up and we could “drink” (i.e. breath) the air, which is inside the bottle. So, it could be seen that I have placed a couple of bottles full of air under water for those people, who are under water, to have “a drink” of air if they wish.
